TraceLink is seeking a full-time Principal User Experience (UX) Designer to join our Platform User Experience Design team. In this role, you will be turning product and component requirements into intuitive, elegant and scalable design solutions to support our product ecosystem.

User Experience Design
Hands-on Designing and coaching a team of UX Designers to ensure consistent UX process, and high-quality experience outcomes across our product ecosystem.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Partnering with Business Leadership, Management, Content Writers and Product Managers to support roadmap priorities by delivering supporting artifacts and UX thought leadership.
TRACELINK’S ECOSYSTEM
Guiding and supporting Development Teams across the organization to deliver intuitive, and measurable front-end experiences.
In this role you will…
Work with other UX Designers to identify and design UI patterns used across all TraceLink’s user-facing products.
Own multiple highly strategic/mission-critical projects. Demonstrate leadership by maintaining hyper-focus on good UX process and UX outcomes.
Drive development strategies and maintenance plans for pattern/component libraries, style guides, functional specifications, and other internal documentation essential to UX/product operations.
Design and deliver supporting artifacts including, but not limited to, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
Guide User Research practices and strategies to inform design decisions, UX strategies and measurement.
Work within two-week sprints (with other UX Designers) adhering to scrum ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and showcases.
Share knowledge with colleagues new to design thinking frameworks, data-driven design decisions (evangelizing for a user-centric process).
Work across multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate explorations needed to incorporate results into design solutions, engineering efforts, technical communications and training collateral.
Lead ideation and strategy sessions with leadership, managers and product stakeholders and quickly update UX deliverables based on feedback — repeat until alignment is reached.
Introduce innovation and meaningful improvements by bringing external know-how into TraceLink’s UX process.
What we’re looking for…
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science or equivalent work experience. MS/MA degree in a related field is a plus.
7+ years of professional experience designing web interfaces and/or mobile apps (Android and iOS).
A strong portfolio showcasing your design/analysis work.
Technical Expertise:
Proven ability to produce best-in-class UX artifacts, including user flows, prototypes, wireframes, high fidelity sketches, and design specifications within tight deadlines and prior to key release milestones.
Demonstrated application of user-centered design principles, systemic thinking, information architecture, design thinking and content strategy.
Understanding of front-end code languages (e.g. CSS/HTML), ideally related to execution of responsive patterns and data visualizations.
Experience facilitating UX workshops and sessions (e.g. user interviews, card sorting, usability testing, etc.) to analyze, document, and present findings to drive user centered data-driven design decisions.
Ability to self-manage workload (across multiple projects) liaising with Management on impediments and priorities.
Mentor junior Designers, Engineering, Technical Communications, and other teams by serving as Subject Matter Expert in UX tooling and operations.
Achieve results through influence and persuasion rooted in strategic thinking and tactical execution, partnering Principal Designers and Management.

What will help you in this role…
MS/MA Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science or a related field is a plus.
Related UX certification(s) or course work (UIE, Neilson Norman, etc.)
Experience in Pharmaceutical, Health care or Supply Chain industries. Ideally in a SAAS setting.
Mobile app design and/or development experience.
