Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions is currently looking for one Lead Product Specialist to join their team in Bengaluru, KA . As a Lead Product Manager, you will be part of the Boeing Global Services Digital Solutions team, which develops software applications and products that create direct value to its customers. We provide re-vamped work environments focused on delivering data-driven solutions at a rapidly increased pace over traditional development. Position Responsibilities:
• Evaluate business opportunities to define and lead product innovation
• Analyze and understand targeted markets, market trends, new technology, customer business issues and the competitive environment
• Deeply understand the customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Lead product innovations and new products through the product lifecycle from inception to market launch and product maintenance
• Apply best practices from Pragmatic Marketing and Scaled Agile Framework to lead business and market driven software development projects
• Develop product roadmaps and project plans designed to address customer needs and/or expand market share
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies with product marketing
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with product development in software development and validate early product definitions and proof-of-concepts with customers
• Supports strategic product owner to identify and document customer business problems and objectives. Formulates and communicates the business vision, understands the user personas, market trends, competitors, and market price. Supports in defining, refining and documenting business requirements and user stories of the proposed minimum valuable product (MVP).
• Interacts with project stakeholders to clarify and define product and system requirements associated with proposed solutions, including translation of business requirements into technical requirements which is an interactive process throughout the entire project lifecycle.
• Analyzes and documents features and user stories and develops detailed functional and user specifications as a basis for detailed design, development specifications and estimates with SME’s in technology development.
• Interacts with technical product owner, system engineers, developers and software testers to ensure customer requirements are fully understood, implemented and validated as agreed. Executes user acceptance and scenario testing of implemented features and user stories.
• Supports the user acceptance test (UAT) and formal evaluation of implemented features with the technical product owner, to validate and verify the operational use of a developed minimum valuable product (MVP) is matching customer expectations and ease-of-use.
• Interacts with project owners/stakeholders and the development team, where required, to ensure a common understanding of requirements, expectations, activities, priorities and timeframes, tool landscapes and changes to these as they may occur.
• Contributes to the creation, maintenance and review of product documentation including product and system requirements, user manuals, training material and release notes. Responsible to document the ‘Requirements and Change Management plan’
• Responsible for assisting in the resolution of risk, defects and issues.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): (12+ years)
• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• 12+ years of experience in product development/management, program management and/or financial analysis
• 5+ years aviation software or data service product development experience helpful
• Experience presenting and communicating ideas to key stakeholders across businesses
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and team skills
• Knowledge of international aviation regulations and airline operations requirements and/or pain points appreciated
• Excellent understanding of Business/General aviation market and Flight Operations
• Good understanding of Flight/Trip Planning, Aircraft Performance, Maintenance and Ground Handling in the context of Flight Operations
• Good understanding of the software development process including the release processes and roadmap definition
• Domain experience in Flight Planning and Aviation
• Experience in Flight Planning/Simulation Software is an added advantage
• Experience in evangelizing cloud adoption and establishing cloud architectures
• Experience in Software Development
Typical Education & Experience:
• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 12 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master + 10 years’ related work experience.
