Global Sales Strategy & Operations (GSSO) is a division within Gartner which encompasses Sales Technology, Sales Productivity, Sales Analytics, Territory Planning & Analytics, Operations and Change Management. Our mission is to drive continuous growth and productivity by providing tools, technology, analytics, and trainings that enable Gartner Sales Associates to sell better and faster. GSSO India COE, aims to function as a world-class sales operations center of excellence that relies on process automation, tools & technology, and advanced analytics to drive continuous innovation leading to improved sales performance and productivity
Job description:
– Own and drive the initiatives that support Gartner’s mission critical priorities of improving sales productivity and accelerate new business growth.
– Support the service leadership in transforming territory enrichment by bringing a consultative mindset and problem-solving expertise
– analytical thinking and entrepreneurial mindset to help the function drive service improvement and continuous innovation
– Execute and lead medium to high complexity projects spanning couple of hours to couple of days. Work on prospecting and non-prospecting research projects such as – Prospect contact identification and qualification,
– Organization firmographics, independent evaluation of new prospecting tools depending on geography, audience, etc.
– Achieve operational excellence and process improvement: Provide consultative support to improve team operations and create value for the sales organization
– Build a culture of service measurement and improvement using metrics that matter. Develop metrics and KPIs for the effective assessment of the function and use these measures to continuously improve our services
– Identify opportunities to improve the throughput/ and quality of our services through automation; partner with dev/ IT team to design and implement solutions
– Attract, retain and develop a high performing team
– Create and sustain a positive, collaborative, and innovative environment through regular feedback and mentorship
– Ensure that the team produces exceptional quality deliverables as efficiently as possible
– Develop/refine key metrics to enable operational management, including productivity vs. milestones and SLAs
Essential must-have skills:
– Master’s degree in Business or related field or an MBA with relevant experience in global organizations
– 4-6 years of experience in research, consulting, or business process improvement/ innovation with at least 2 years of experience in leading projects/ processes and improving service operations
– Demonstrated ability to lead operations and provide expertise in process improvement
– Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities with the ability to synthesize information, summarize issues and think creatively
– Exceptionally strong communication skills and an ability to think both analytically as well as keeping business objectives in mind
– Excellent stakeholder management as well as demonstrated ability to manage internal client relationships
– Proficient in data analytics and visualization platforms or tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Advance Excel and Google Analytics
– Working knowledge of data analysis principles: inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, informing conclusions, and supporting decision-making
