Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, and/or cross-business projects.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

Establish and lead a growing engineering organization responsible for major components in Information Retrieval.
Execute the exchange of components from other geographies that are currently building and supporting them.
Provide the vision, strategy, and execution to continue to enhance the products and journeys and build new ones where needed to expand our capabilities.
Set the roadmap and OKRs for the team, strategically balancing customer needs, quality, scale, efficiency, useability, and performance.
Develop, staff, and grow talent through effective hiring, mentoring, development, and coaching to create a pipeline of talent IR can use to seed new teams in Bangalore and rapidly expand.
