Job Overview
We are looking for an Android Mobile Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the mobile application. You will work with an UX designer and bridge the gap between interface design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop new user-facing features for mobile applications
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Should be excellent in mobile application development for native Android apps
- Should have done hybrid application development on Xamarin
- Should have in depth knowledge on application lifecycle, Web API and design patterns
- Good to have knowledge on caching strategies and performance tuning for the apps
- Good to have knowledge on SQLite database and other offline saving options for mobile
application development - Experience with multithreading and concurrency
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work in an Agile environment
Skills & Qualifications
- Min 4+ years experience in Android app development
- Degree in IT/ Computer Science/ Engineering/related field is preferred
- Sound Knowledge about Hybrid Application Development
- In- depth knowledge about app lifecycle, design patterns
- Experience in Xamarin Forms, Xamarin Android
- Experience in TypeScript and NativeScript
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Photoshop is a plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
