General Mills India Center (GIC) operates out of Mumbai and supports the global operations of General Mills. The center was established in 2005 and has grown in strength. Digital and Technology team

Job Overview
Role: Sr. Consultant
The Digital and Technology (D&T) team of General Mills India Centre is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to contribute to the Global Digital Transformation initiative at General Mills in capacity of a Sr. Consultant. This lead analyst role will report into the NAF Solution Manager in India and functionally collaborate with the D&T North America Foodservice (NAF) team members. In this role as an individual contributor, you will partner with business leaders to achieve results by leveraging the full suite of D&T capabilities including: Process improvement, transformation, problem solving and technology. We need your help in solving complex, and ambiguous issues that cut across data & advanced technology solutions. While technology is interwoven in everything we do, the ideal candidate for this role will have existing experience in data harmonization, data modelling, integrations, & reporting and can look at problems through a systematic lens. In this role you will be exposed to, and support: Google Cloud Capabilities, Reporting suites, and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. This lead analyst role supports North America Foodservice through leading successful solutions and project execution in partnership with other D&T capability experts, business partners, and external vendors.
Role Responsibilities
. This role will be responsible to support North America Foodservice data & data capabilities
. Mentor and guide other analysts, as a lead analyst for the NAF Data Governance workstream
. Work with a cross-functional team including analysts, PMs, Solution Managers, developers, architects, and business stakeholders in business value driven projects
. Develop NAF business acumen
. Lead the conversation with Product Owner to articulate value & success criteria and collect & translate business requirements into technical specs for execution
. Partner with Product Team members in designing, developing, managing new & existing capabilities and reports
. Partner with cross workstream D&T partners to enable business capabilities and outcomes
. Partner with Product Owner & Solution Managers to develop a capabilities roadmap
. Partner with Product Owner and Architects to translate capabilities into a tech-stack
. Create and sustain strong relationships with a broad array of internal stakeholders to gain business context and with external partners to ensure data & solutions meets business needs
. Create and deliver user documentation as necessary to ensure proper use of changed and newly implemented solutions and standards
. Demonstrate initiative and ownership by proactively resolving issues and taking on multiple tasks
. Perform a nalysis to solve complex business problems
. Provide troubleshooting technical support for systems and reports differentiate functional issues from technical issues resolve production problems and provide production and technical support
. Ensure day-to-day operations are fulfilled within service level agreements and troubleshoot support/technical issues
. Assure data quality and governance are in place
. Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
. Identify gaps in processes, opportunities for improvements and automation
. Active leader & participant in Agile Product team ceremonies
. Lead discovery projects, POCs and experiments with D&T partners and Product Owner
. Consult, advise and provide subject matter expertise as required
Must – have skills and experience
. Bachelor’s Degree
. 10+ years of relevant experience of working as a Sr. Consultant/Lead Analyst/SME/Sr. Business Analyst etc.
. Software development or database development experience
. Experience on a Data, Analytics and Insights team
. Excellent communication skills- verbal and written, excellent analytical skills & stakeholder management skills
. Excellent planning and organizational skills self starter
. Strong attention to detail, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and quick turnaround deliverables, and exceptional attention to details
