The Opportunity:

The Product Marketer will develop and execute product marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive product adoption, and grow market share. They will work closely with the product, sales, and marketing teams to create compelling messaging, content, and campaigns that showcase the value of our products to the target audience. The Product Marketer will also be responsible for understanding the product vision and engaging with existing customers to get clarity on value propositions for the website and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans to achieve business objectives.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product positioning and messaging.
3. Create engaging content for product collateral, website, and marketing campaigns.
4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the target audience, their pain points, and how our product addresses their needs.
5. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
6. Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
7. Assist with product launches, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategies.
8. Understand the product vision and engage with existing customers to gather insights and create a strong value proposition.

Required Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
2. 4+ years of experience in product marketing or a similar marketing or product role.
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
5. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
6. Experience with marketing analytics tools and platforms.

Work Expectations (Onboarding): 

1-month:

1. Onboard and deeply understand the product, company, and target audience.
2. Review existing marketing materials and identify areas for improvement.
3. Develop an understanding of the competitive landscape.
4. Establish relationships with key product, marketing, and sales stakeholders.

3-month:

1. Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans, including content creation and campaign management.
2. Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, making adjustments as necessary.
3. Collaborate with the product team to refine product positioning and messaging based on customer feedback and market research.
4. Support the sales team with sales enablement materials and training.
5. Understand the product vision and actively engage with existing customers to gather insights and feedback.
6. Create strong value propositions based on customer interactions, and incorporate them into website content and external communications.

6-month:

1. Establish a strong presence for the product in the market, with increased brand awareness and market share.
2. Optimize marketing strategies and campaigns based on data-driven insights and best practices.
3. Contribute to the development and execution of product launches and go-to-market strategies.
4. Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth and improvement.
5. Maintain a strong understanding of the product vision and ensure it is effectively communicated through marketing materials and campaigns.
6. Leverage customer insights to refine value propositions and continuously improve the product’s position for the target audience.
