The Travel Partner Network is comprised of close to 100 local partner agencies across 85+ global markets. The Regional Partner Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Business development team and key partner contacts in day-to-day operations and initiatives across the region.
This role requires an individual with a unique combination of project management skill, travel industry knowledge, financial acumen, and ability to collaborate across multiple regions and cultures. The job presents a unique opportunity for a motivated individual looking for a dynamic, challenging and truly global role.
Key Responsibilities:
Support regional and cross functional teams to drive Amex GBT strategy , growth initiatives and profitability
Manage a portfolio of key travel partnerships in the region and act as primary point of contact for Partners in issue resolution, growth and quality initiatives.
Partner within Amex GBT network to support Implementations, Sales and Client Managers to coordinate growth initiatives and new client implementations.
Partner within Amex GBT network, where applicable, to ensure that Partner’s performance is at or above Amex GBT SLA standards.
Partner with Global Supplier Partnerships in development and delivery of supplier revenue program– including supplier value proposition and preferred supplier program
Support fulfilment of ongoing due diligence and compliance requirements (Brand Guidelines, Security Assessments etc).
Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of fees – calculation, invoicing and payments tracking.
Oversee controls to ensure that Partner members within the Amex GBT network to satisfy network standards.
Support execution of global initiatives.
Maintain up to date Partner information in the corresponding databases.
Conduct regular conference calls and business reviews with Partners, document findings and follow-up on commitments.
Drive creation of Client and Supplier Business Development opportunities for Partners. Identify opportunities to strengthen value proposition, outline business model and implement.
Facilitate deployment of premium value tools to ensure consistent business travel servicing.
Requirements to Succeed:
At least 2-3 years of Business Development/Account Management experience preferably within travel industry.
Excellent knowledge of Business Travel including key drivers of service delivery quality.
Strong consulting and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization including the ability to handle objections and achieve mutually beneficial solutions.
Strong financial acumen and analytical mindset required to leverage the key drivers of profitability.
Proven innovative problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills required.
Project management, prioritization, and planning skills.
Proven ability to identify and deliver new business and/or growth opportunities through partnerships.
Excellent business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to getting things done.
An analytical, innovative and creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
A team player and enterprise thinker.
Familiarity in working with Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required
