Job role
The Chapter Area Lead acts as People lead for the Chapter leads in their Chapter Area. An Area can have multiple Chapter Area Leads depending on the size of Area and skills required. The Chapter Area Leads acts as a leader and expert in their speciality. They aim to ensure the performance and development of chapters in their area while supporting Tribe and organizational leadership in decision making
You will
· Supports Chapters development plans and objectives and monitors performance in the people evaluation process.
· Leads the technical, methodical, and personal development of the chapters according to the strategic priorities ,OKRs and business value.
· Defines and transparently communicates the Chapter Area Vision and yearly goals to their chapters.
· Accountable for defining and setting compensation and benefits evaluates and promotes the Chapter leads.
· Accountable for managing strategic partnerships with external vendors and negotiating the framework agreements(Inc. Budget)
· Supports Area leadership from a strategic perspective in prioritizing initiatives, analysing results, creating actions.
· Conducts negotiations with sponsors and stakeholders on financing and budget development.
· Responsible for the people budget for further development measures and personnel costs.
· Provides expertise and ensures application of appropriate standards and enterprise policies within organization.
· Acts as a change agent and promotes the agile values, principles, and way of working.
· Drive the improvement of chapter area through adequate measures and fosters psychological safety and wellbeing.
Your skills
· You enjoy working with people – individually and in groups and are solution-oriented, proactive, independent, structured, and reflective. You communicate clearly, can adapt flexibly to a counterpart and are enthusiastic about new topics.
· You have an agile mindset, live agile leadership (servant leadership) and agile methods.
· Having work experience of 10+ years in Agile leadership as Chapter Area lead
· You will quickly build an understanding of the content in order to address the concerns of the tribes and employees of your chapter. You move confidently in a complex environment and recognize (economic) connections in your decisions.
· You deal successfully with external service providers or are ready to learn the ropes.
· Advantageous: You have already gained experience in people management in the past (e.g., technical or disciplinary, #lead or similar leadership training)
· Working knowledge and experience in SAP SuccessFactors across its complete life cycle.
· Work Experience with SuccessFactors suite and HR IT solutions e.g. payroll, time, pension, and others.
· Degree or equivalent professional experience
