Position Summary:
The candidate will support the design and manufacturing of laboratory equipment with specific responsibilities on existing electrical components, electrical subsystems and product testing as well as be accountable to lead own project(s).This person interacts with all areas and levels of the company to bring a positive result in product development, production launches, optimizing existing products, using a multi-disciplinary approach to problem solving, and works with other team members toward the common goal.
Responsibilities:
Lead project to evaluate product quality, cost, and efficiency from Product Design Engineering and configure it for the production process.
Troubleshoots Mechanical & electro-mechanical systems and components to resolve existing problems and improve product quality and reliability.
Develops and executes test plans to verify product performance.
Develops Project Plan, Risk Management, and other requirements as per Business unit specific process.
Collaborates with distributed team member in US and ensures smooth execution of project.
Meet the key business metrics to implement projects to enable business to achieve desired results.
Works with global teams in delivering solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
Must have 3-6 years of relevant project execution experience.
