Senior Associate, Solution Engineering (Automation QA) – Pune, India

You will be working with a team of engineers with a broad range of responsibilities including all aspects of software engineering like requirements understanding and validation, solution design detailed design, development, testing and software configuration management. Build products, systems, and services that are optimized, well organized and maintainable, and have high impact on our end users.
Role Responsibilities
Plan, design, develop and execute manual & automated tests across new and existing software.
Design and develop test automation frameworks to enable fast and low maintenance automation.
Take ownership for developing and executing automated tests across the various projects and programs to enable a higher quality deliverable.
Assist with triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues discovered.
Where necessary, develop and execute manual test cases to detect issues that cannot be detected through automated means.
Must be able to multi-task, handling numerous competing priorities.
Work with business partners to understand their needs and proactively lead them to solutions.
Ensure that software functionality is implemented according to the product stakeholder needs.
Recommend improvements to existing software programs, especially for unit tests.
Log and track system flaws using the JIRA issue tracking system.
Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations, functional, and technical teams.
Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
Provide technical leadership to testing and project team members and enable a highly collaborative team.
Works independently on complex projects
Maintain effective communication with clients, business and partners as needed.
Role Requirements
4+ years of software quality assurance experience.
Experience with multiple development platforms and knowledge of J2EE, API (Rest, SOAP, Message-Driven), and Micro Services
Should have hands-on software test development experience, including both functional and non-functional test development as an individual contributor and in leading teams.
Work with product stakeholders to organize, develop and execute User Acceptance Tests
Expertise in testing practices and techniques for Functional, End to End, Integration, and Regression Testing
Experience of automation frameworks and techniques for WEB, API, backend components & database
Strong knowledge of automation framework like Karate, Selenium-based frameworks, Postman, SOAP UI, BDD Cucumber – Must have
Experience with selecting/creating appropriate test data and practiced Structured Query Language (SQL) to validate system’s correct data handling.
Experience with creating & executing performance, scalability & load testing using relevant tools/frameworks, be able to analyze results and provide detailed reporting
Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results.
Knowledge of software engineering practices and agile approaches
Familiar with deployment strategies, including creation and oversight of multiple QA environments.
Ability to utilize issue tracking analysis to identify focus areas of improvement based on quality assurance findings.
