Your role
Are you an analytic thinker? A motivated self-starter? Do you have the know-how for analyzing financial information and statements?
We’re looking for a finance analyst and business partner to:
• Analyze and manage the governance of Group Function allocations to understand the variances and the key drivers for Forecast, Estimate, Actuals comparison on monthly basis for all the periods
• Working with Sr. Stakeholder in the bank for 3YSP (3-year strategic planning) and partnering with business division
• Have sound understanding on the cost and allocations and financial elements of capitalization and amortization and able to provide cost insight.
• Highly proficient in managing the data and converting in to the analytics for management insight
• Ability to compare and reconcile output from upstream & downstream systems for various dimensions and draw linkages.
• Understands billing key aspects and total cost attribution to business divisions.
• Participate and delivering monthly forecasting and planning exercise.
• Have detailed knowledge of cost control, organization financial reporting structure, accounts consolidation and reconciliation.
• Work in close co-ordination with stakeholders, function owners and provide senior management with ad-hoc analysis
• Manage stakeholders, CFOs and COOs expectations on an ongoing basis
• Deliver qualitative analytics on dashboard, flash and standard packs to CFOs, COOs and senior management
Your team
You’ll be working in the GF CFO Divisional Controlling Governance team as part of group Function CFO team in Pune. We produce and distribute best-in-class reporting products and analysis that support compliant and confident decision making. As a financial reporting specialist, you’ll play an important role in bringing out more transparency and insights into the overall GF allocations to Business Division. You will also be expected to drive value added reporting and participate in the automation efforts.
Your expertise
• Strong academics with degree in MBA or CA or an equivalent in Finance or similar field
• Ideally 6-9 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role focusing on Financial analysis, Controlling & Governance, Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting (FP&A – Financial Planning and Analysis)
• Must be proficient in managing the data and converting in to the analytics for management insight with proven expertise in Alteryx, MS Excel, MS power Point and Power BI tools
• Must have worked on Financial planning and analysis in CFOs organization and managed the Senior stakeholders directly
• Must have strong communication skill (verbal and written) as role demands lot of commentary writing and partnering
• Methodical, concise and accurate work style, with strong attention to detail and deadlines
• Able to apply technical understanding to solve problems (you can’t be replaced by a robot)
• An aptitude for information technology and latest trends
• Conscientious and focused on objectives with a can-do-attitude and written and verbal communication
• Sound experience in data analysis, validation and presentation of results (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, TM1, Tableau, Think cell, Alteryx)
