About the role:
This role will successfully drive data management, operational reporting, content management, business intelligence and continuous improvement across the business unit to achieve significant financial, operational, customer satisfaction, and/or employee satisfaction impact. The individual should be skilled at leading by example in the delivery of high impact outputs.
The Operations Data and BI Specialist will manage all major processes of mining, cleaning, and analyzing data to help PS leaders make strategic decisions using skills such as programming language (e.g., SAS), visualization tools like Power BI, and communication and reporting skills to deliver information required by the business. Beyond immediate data analysis, this role further requires ability to identify and iterate on data management and reporting processes and tools with a talent for quickly identifying what is relevant, discarding what is not and understanding what is missing. This role is also responsible for the business intelligence and insights aspects of operational reporting to bring actionable information to leadership, as well as content management structures, standards, systems, and maintenance.

Professional Services Operations Management, Content Management, Technology Support, Business Intelligence and Decision-Support
· Perform statistical analyses to help answer questions and solve problems
· Data querying using SQL
· Clean and organize data into usable formats
· Data analysis and forecasting using Excel, Certinia (fka FinancialForce)
· Creating dashboards using business intelligence software
· Performing various analytics and trend analysis including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive or prescriptive.
· Define, manipulate, aggregate, and use both structured and unstructured data to support reporting, metrics, and analytics across Corporates Professional Services
· Narrate stories (sometimes to a non-technical audience) about our content and processes by data analysis and visualization
· Define and develop tools and reports for the analysis and manipulation of small, medium, large, and exceptionally large datasets
· Performing data validity and quality checks, change reviews, and tool design and review
· Manages business-as-usual and ad hoc activities specific to data management and reporting needs of the Professional Services business
· Supports creation of data requirements, functional requirements, and validation of solutions, as well as data migration and testing of new implementations
· Work at all levels of the organization, and possibly with external customers and suppliers, to take challenging, ambiguous, or visionary concepts, and turn them into well-scoped projects and deliver successful process improvement results in a time efficient manner
· Provides highest-level technical leadership and subject matter expertise in one or more technologies
· Manages the content architecture, design, standards, and maintenance for all PS shared content in O365 (Sharepoint/Teams), Salesforce, Certinia, Contracts Express and HighQ; recommends improvements and updates to content strategies
· Learns new techniques and teaches them to the team
· Makes significant discoveries and adds to Operations COE’s portfolio of intellectual property
· Stays on top of the state of the art in the field and bring in new tools to accelerate progress
· Responsible to deliver timely, accurate and complete operational reporting and metrics
Business Liaising and Cross Segment Communication
· Interact with TR system leads to stay abreast of product changes; update and enhance analytic tools; accordingly, communicate changes to PS business; design and deploy methods to best capture feedback from PS business in partnership with established channels
· Work as data liaison and collaborator to external business units that support PS including Commercial Excellence, HR, Finance, Customer Proposition, Sales Enablement, and IT
· Maintain credibility, branding, credentials, and experience

Complex with high degree of influence. Accountable to deliver within set budget parameters, operational work is not billed back to client. Face off to business leaders within and external to Professional Services regularly. Provide key decision support and recommendations for continuous improvement to business.
