Brief Job Overview
The Sr. Manager – Network and Datacenter Operations is hands-on role with deep knowledge and understanding of networking and datacenter technology. Successful candidate will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects and operations serving as a liaison between the business and technical teams. This role will be responsible for the management of network and server infrastructure, planning & execution of technology enhancement across IT network & datacenter, managing Service Management processes, implementing secure technology solutions and the execution of technology-related tasks and initiatives end to end. In addition, this role shall have a responsibility to manage established service delivery framework across IT infrastructure functions including vendor performance management. This is a high visibility role with regular interactions with key stakeholders across hierarchy.

Maintains existing IT environment ensuring high level of availability and reliability.
Ideates, plans, implements and manages initiatives for upgrading IT infrastructure in alignment with dynamic business and technology requirements.
Provide strategic guidance to the organization, track interesting trends on emerging network & server technologies relevant to the organization and take advantage of such technology trends to develop a future ready technology stack.
Manages assigned IT initiatives ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of initiative.
Introduces industry best practices; implements global processes within India operations and facilitates structured operations management approach to managing IT infrastructure.
Coordinates and collaborates with stakeholders across business functions, IT teams, external vendors and third parties.
Enables exchange of ideas, facilitate collaborative conversations, identify key dependencies, and drives consensus within stakeholders.
Identifies, documents, and proactively communicates risks, issues, dependencies with appropriate sense of urgency.
Demonstrates leadership skills in driving a common objective while dealing with stakeholders with differing views, objectives, and approaches.
Helps develop and implement metrics-oriented service delivery framework where applicable for delivery functions across teams.
Sets and tracks operational metrics in accordance with agreed SLAs and timelines; develops comprehensive roadmap for continuous improvement.
Develops data-oriented performance measurements to manager effective service delivery.
Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare operational status reports.
Work closely with business to understand their work requirements, proactively identify pain areas, brainstorm ideas, and drive strong working relationships.
Analyses business requirements and develops workflows to deliver outcomes aligned to business objectives.
Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities to implement technology solutions; undertake business case studies and present business benefits.
Work with Internal IT teams to work on continuous improvement projects adding value to business.
Proactively engage, coordinate and manage vendors keeping USP interests at forefront.
Meet financial requirements by submitting information for budgets, and monitoring expenses.
Maintain and track support contracts, product licensing and budgets year on year for network investment.
Represent network team for IT Audits – Internal & External manage the respective documentations.
Who USP is Looking For?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
Bachelors / master’s degree in a computer science.
Cumulative experience of 12-15 years in IT in IT Infrastructure background across Network and data center management.
Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience in independently managing small & medium IT infrastructure teams
Good Experience in IT Service Management
