Job Family Descriptor

Responsible for software development projects across multiple technologies inhouse or through vendors for building new capabilities driving automation and improve operational efficiencies Formulate and define specifications for complex operating software programming applications including commercial applications Drive design development testing debugging and implementation of software applications or specialized utility programs using current programming languages and source code to support end users needs Perform regular updates and recommend improvement to existing applications using engineering releases and utilities Establish technology standards for applications development

Key Responsibilities

1) Person should have work exp in Manual Testing as well as automation

2) Person should have work exp in test case writing execution onUI testing and SOAP/RESTFUL API testing using tools like SoapUI/Postman/Jmeter

3) Person should have work exp in Python or Java- using Selenium

4) Should have work experience in Mongo DB or SQL

5)Should have good experience in debugging/troubleshooting skills.

6)Must have experience of Unix/Linux or Similar Operating Systems.

7)At least 2+ years of software testing experience in a product development/software services environment

8) Good to have – Experience on Docker/Kubernetes and Jenkins. (Optional)

9) 1 year of telecom domain experience

Minimum qualification & experience

Exp- Max 3 years

Qualification- B.E or B.Tec or MCA

Knowledge / Skills

Other knowledge/skills

• Expert written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand business goals and map to technical requirements.
• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps methodology.

Exposure to collaboration tools like GIT, JIRA, TestRail would be a plus.
