The Opportunity:
As Web Capability Lead you will be combining technical skills on Drupal and associated web technologies, business acumen and leadership qualities to lead the web chapter to build solutions that enable transformative capabilities within Takeda.
Responsibilities
Act as the technical platform (platforms like Drupal) SME (Concept, Design, Feasibility)
Clarification of technical details in backlog items and technical design of backlog items.
Leadership & guidance of chapter team members.
Support resource management.
Set standards & best practices within chapter / capability, and encourage adherence to those.
Ensure appropriate level of technical documentation.
Proactively address any risks & issues together with the team, and raise to program/portfolio oversight, as required
Act as advisor to Platform Owner and provide expertise on platform usage, comparison to other platforms and related technology thought leadership
Cross-pollination of applicable standards & practices between teams.
Discussion of business requirements with stakeholders.
Pro-active suggestion on new features or tools.
Alignment & communication with other service lines on chapter-overarching practices & approaches.
Ensure re-usability of features within business functions.
Educate service managers on the new upcoming features and capabilities.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
5+ years of relevant professional experience in developing in Drupal.
3+ years leading a development team in agile methodologies.
Experience in stakeholder relationship management. Influential in orchestrating key stakeholders and product teams to turn product vision into reality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen, and enterprise knowledge.
Extensive experience in design or in implementing solutions or products and preferable experienced in quality improvement.
Understand design thinking and can explain and convince stakeholders.
Work with virtual/agile teams in different locations, aligning and adapting different work, culture, and communication styles
Proficiency in English in both verbal and written communication is a must
