- Good sharp analytical, logical and reasoning skills
- Good knowledge of various Data structures
- Good knowledge (should be hands on as well) on at least one of the languages – Java, C++, Python, C#
- Good understanding of OS concepts which includes Process Scheduling, Threads and Concurrency, Context Switching, Memory Management, File System etc.
- Good understanding of Operating Systems – Linux (Ubuntu or Redhat) or Windows, along with the hands-on knowledge of working with Shell in Linux or PS in windows
- Good understanding of one RDBMS – MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, MSSQL
- Nice to have, if any project conducted during the program term which he/she should be able to explain and answer any questions
