Job Discription
1. Developing Sales Strategies: An Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and action plans that will drive sales and revenue growth within the assigned area. They analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and identify opportunities for expansion in the area.
2. Sales Team Management: They are responsible for managing the sales team within the area, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure that the team is capable of achieving their targets. They set individual performance targets, assess performance, and take corrective actions when required.
3. Client Relationship Management: The Area Sales Manager builds strong relationships with clients and customers within the area, understands their needs and requirements, and ensures the delivery of products or services to meet their expectations.
4. Sales Targets: They set sales targets for the sales team within the area that are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. They monitor and assess the performance of the sales team against the set targets and take appropriate actions to meet the set targets.
5. Reporting and Analysis: They provide regular reporting on sales performance, analyzing sales data, and assessing the effectiveness of sales strategies. They leverage data analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations to improve sales performance.
6. Budget Management: They manage the sales budget for the assigned area, ensuring that all sales activities within the area are within the allocated budget. They work with the sales team to develop sales programs and promotions that increase revenue growth while optimizing costs.
Market Intelligence: They gather market intelligence and competitor insights within the assigned area, identifying new business opportunities, and informing product development plans
