What’s the role?
As an IM (Information Management) advisor, your primary responsibility is to work closely with the business to design, advise, and deliver solutions that are future-proof and fit for purpose. This involves providing technical expertise and best practices to guide the business in managing their data and information effectively.
You will act as a technical advisor, offering guidance, governance, and consultation on various aspects of information management, including unstructured data, information governance, and utilizing the full capabilities of platforms and tools to support business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
More specifically, your role will include:
Build the infrastructure required for optimal ETL/ELT of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Azure, AWS ‘big data’ technologies.
Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other KPI metrics.
Keep our data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centres and Azure, AWS regions.
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader.
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
What we need from you
At least 3-5 years of working experience in technology, information management, data, automation.
Strong proficiency in SharePoint customization, including OOB and SPFx (SharePoint Framework).
Well-versed in I&M (Information and Management) compliance and life cycle information management
Power Automate/Power Apps/Power BI, data migration and metadata enrichment, O365, MS Azure, scripting with PowerShell and jQuery, as well as data and analytics.
Possess knowledge in robotic process automation (RPA), MuleSoft, Microsoft .Net, information management & data, data and analytics, and ML (Machine Learning) and AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Skills – Nice to Have
Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced ever-changing environment.
Result oriented with the ability to identify long-term impactful opportunities/solutions for the business. Ensuring on future proof and sustainability
Able to provide guidance and support to ensure compliance on data privacy [GDPR] and Trade Controls and other relatable regulations.
Understand the different risks, format, controls & processes management of physical & electronic records.
Overall, your role as an IM advisor is to provide strategic and technical guidance to the business, ensuring that their information management practices are optimized, compliant, and aligned with their business goals and objectives.
