The Role
As a Developer Advocate for the ServiceNow Platform, you will be responsible for engaging with the developer community to help them build innovative solutions using the ServiceNow platform. You will be the voice of the developer within the company and work closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that the platform is meeting the needs of developers.
Responsibilities:
Engage with developers in the community to build relationships, understand their needs, and provide support
Create content, such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos, that helps developers learn how to use the ServiceNow platform
Speak at conferences, meetups, and other events to educate developers about the ServiceNow platform and its capabilities
Drive innovation in the developer community through hackathons and be the enabler for transforming POCs to Products
Work closely with the product team to provide feedback from the developer community and influence product direction
Work with the engineering team to create sample code and other resources that make it easy for developers to get started with the ServiceNow platform
Collaborate with the marketing team to create messaging and campaigns that resonate with developers
Provide feedback and input on developer tools, documentation, and other resources to ensure they meet the needs of the developer community
Requirements:
Strong technical background and 15+ years of experience in software development, with atleast 5+ years experience developing on the ServiceNow platform
Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to technical audiences
Passion for working with developers and building relationships with the developer community
Ability to work collaboratively across teams to drive results
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects
Experience creating technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, or videos is a plus
Experience speaking at conferences or other events is a plus
