Job description: Senior Program Manager – Service Now:
This job role & responsibilities includes leading Service Now development team in India, for delivery of various Service Now modules like ESM, CSM, HRsD, GRC, SecOps, Devops and Mobile development. This role will be responsible for product delivery as well as customer relationship management to the business units.
In addition to this, the role demands excellent communication, Presentation Skills and Cross-functional abilities.
KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Program Management – Coach your team and ensure successful delivery of Service Now modules globally.
– Ensure growth of business based on a target roadmap while maintaining focus on high quality.
– Define and implement a future roadmap for your portfolio & services.
– Drive innovation projects and ensure value-add to global partners.
– Ensure a high level of motivation and satisfaction in your team by defining clear career paths as well as increasing the value of work while reducing repetitive tasks with e.g. automation.
– Ensure a high level of Stakeholder satisfaction working closely with the HQ Germany team bridging to our Stakeholders in all global regions.
– Expertise having delivered software with Distributed Agile Teams using SAFe methodology
– Should have solid technical understanding of multi-tier Application Development, Integrations with Service Now.
– Good knowledge of Cloud, DevOps, FOSS, API and Micro services
– Has extensive experience with complex requirements (for the purposes of implementing the requirements)
– Develop the strategic direction in alignment with IT partners
– Contribute to Strategy & Development of Department/CoC- Contribute effectively to core department activities as a part of Extended Leadership Team
– Contribute by owning and driving certain cross-functional department activities
– Transfer best practices and Lessons learnt across the department
– Develop required technical & domain competency for the teams to go the next level of ownership
– Solid Team Leadership & People Management skills- – Instill a high performance culture in the team with a focus on team work
– People Management – Interviews, Mentoring, Training, Knowledge sharing, Team building and Performance Appraisals
– Ensure regular open dialogue with employees & management and communication of strategy

– Operational Excellence & Delivery Skills/Quality Management/Project Management- Ensure successful service/project/program execution (cost, time, quality) for services/projects/programs in responsibility

– Innovation & Change Management- Develop and drive the innovation culture with in the team
– Supplier Management- Plan and manage external resources in the area of responsibility. Manage suppliers and ensure effective communication with them
Required Candidate profile
– 12- 15 years of overall experience in IT Project and Program Management.
– IT Project and Program Management – Should have managed a large portfolio of projects/topics in one or more domains. A good record of accomplishment of grooming the topics as well as the people involved and showing a significant growth would be necessary.
– Should have worked with Agile Development teams with a good exposure to Scrum/Kanban/SAFe and DevOps methodologies.
– Proven to be a good “out of the box” thinker with contributions to innovation initiatives.
– Proven excellence in stakeholder and customer/partner management.
– Good understanding of Service Now customer facing portal, Integration of Service Now with other corporate applications via web services, mid server, email etc.
– Understanding of Service Now ATF.
– Experience in Translate design components and other specifications into working code & responsive web applications.
– Understanding of middleware API calls for mobile/web applications. Server side scripting in Apache/Jelly/Service Now proprietary.
– Good knowledge of IT, financial and legal requirements
– Customer oriented behavior and ability to provide advice
– Good Knowledge of Digital Communication processes, Presentations and Designing Skills
– Good communication and reporting skills.
– Required language(s): English and Full-Time availability
