Redhat is Looking for Associate Software Engineer Full Time

The Red Hat Partner Certification team is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join us at our Pune location, with the option for remote work.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to understand the desired Partner Experience as communicated by Certification Product Owners and other stakeholders at the Epic level. Using this understanding, you will take on the role of an initiative lead to define the low-level tasks necessary for delivering the desired Partner Experience. Working collaboratively with the team, you will actively contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of the Software required to provide the desired experience.

As a crucial contributor, you will play a vital role in building and certifying Red Hat Partners’ offerings, thereby expanding the Red Hat Ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include developing applications, leading others, creating specific certification tests, and enhancing existing Partner Experiences. You will closely collaborate with Red Hat Product Engineering and Product Management teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, technically polished tools and Software for Red Hat Partners.

What you will do

In this role, you will…

• Collaborate with Product Owners to achieve a clear understanding of the desired Partner Experience
• Participate in discussions with key stakeholders to understand and document requirements as stories, issues, or tasks in JIRA
• Develop new features, workflows, and certification tests in alignment with the Red Hat certification strategy
• Work on documentation and unit tests for tools that are part of the certification space
• Create and maintain tests and validations to support Red Hat Certification Program Policies
• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and tooling for certification analytics and diagnostics
• Work collaboratively with teammates in an agile environment

What you will bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
• 2+ years of demonstrable experience working as a Fullstack Engineer for enterprise web applications.
• Development experience in Java, React, and Javascript
• Good analytical skills.
• Should be good in communication and team engagement skills.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Any experience in Microservice architecture and UI knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Good to have Spring core, Spring Boot, REST API
• Passionate about learning new technologies, enhancing existing skill sets, and developing new talents
• SDLC development life cycle skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
