Researcher/Physician
Possibility of obtaining visa as a reasearcher to be able to work in the United States
MUST be have organizational skills in PREPARING the schedule at least a day in advance to anticipate probable variations in the clinical care of a patient.
Must have studies required by the provider available and needs to make sure they are in the patient’s chart (lab results, imaging studies, hospital discharge summaries)
Must know how to read results and be able to communicate them effectively to the provider.
Have clinical knowledge of chronic conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, Hyperlipidemia, Atrial Fibrillation, COPD, etc.
Acts as a liaison between the Patient and the Physician
Functions as a professional role model and resource person providing guidance to co-workers. Complies with established chain of command for work-related problems. Provides direct patient care as needed including co-management with other health care professionals.
Collects and documents patient information, clinical data, and other relevant information such as vital signs, height/weight, allergies, active medication list, chief complaint, pain score, current symptoms, and registry updates.
Confirms and clarifies orders prior to the implementation of delegated tasks.
Collects and processes laboratory specimens for testing (if applicable).
Maintains and uses principles of aseptic techniques and infection control when performing clinical duties and tasks.
Provides and reinforces appropriate age-specific patient education, health information materials, and community resources, as directed. Identifies patient’s need for additional information and refers to RN.
Performs time-sensitive delegated tasks, such as addressing prescription refill requests, patient questions, and EHR messages.
Works with the healthcare team to ensure smooth and efficient patient flow and clinical operation.
Maintains organizational competencies pertinent to area of practice.
Manages information (including HIPPA) in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned, within the scope of practice and demonstrated competency
