Job Description
As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
Apps FIN:
- Oracle R12.2 EBS Functional consultant with strong functional knowledge of AP, AR, GL, FA modules.2. Have worked extensively on India Localization and GST.3. Define priorities, Write functional specifications and coordinate developments with technical team.4. Test and train the users regularly, communicate to the users the status of the enhancement.5. Report activity to the management and collaborate with functional support in other zones to share information.6. The position—s primary responsibility will be to interface with key stakeholders in the client organization to effectively support task assigned.7. Excellent understanding of full project life cycle and Oracle Implementation methodologies including AIM, OUM.8. Excellent client management and communication (written and oral) skills.9. Best practices in promoting code to instances.10. Basic Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL.11. Basic Knowledge of tools like SQL Developer, Toad, Putty, version control systems.12. Strong team players who value the success of the team as highly as their own personal success.

- Complete Understanding of Oracle Apps and E-Business Suite Architecture and underlying table structures and their usage to design efficient program units.2. Must have strong experience in RICE Components.3. Develop/maintain oracle custom code and interfaces to oracle forms – based applications in accordance with business requirements.4. Develop PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, and trigger from UI events or database triggers, to implement complex business logic.5. Proficient in Form Personalization.6. Work with functional consultants to come out with the appropriate technical design for business requirements.7. Document all technical designs as well as comment or annotate actual development.8. Be responsible for complete unit testing and integration testing with other custom components and the larger oracle application.9. Good knowledge of Shell scripting, Java, SQL tuning, Designing of OAF pages is a plus.10. Experience in R12 and 11i Series with Modules like AP,AR,GL,FA,INV,OM.11. Solid Business Process / Requirement Analysis and Re- engineering Required.12. Proficient in Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports (BI / XML / RDF), Oracle Workflow and Oracle RDBMS.13. Responsibilities
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will interface with the customer’s IT staff on a regular basis. Either at the client’s site or from a remote location, you will be responsible for resolution of moderately complex technical problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use and repair/workarounds for Oracle products. You should be highly experienced in some Oracle products and several platforms that are being supported. You will be expected to work with only general guidance from management while advising management on progress/status.
