Roles and Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a finished product according to the director’s specifications
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
- Collaborate with the director and other team members to understand the project requirements and objectives
- Ensure the project is completed within the given timeline
- Add music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the video’s quality
- Review footage and make necessary changes to ensure the final product meets the director’s vision
- Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, software, and equipment
- Maintain an organized database of all video and audio files
