379775BR Job ID: 379775BR Job Description: Supply Chain Manager, ESO Large Molecule Location – Hyderabad #LI Hybrid About the Role: Responsible for developing the “Demand & Supply Plan” for the tactical horizon (3/4 to 24-36 months) ensuring the adequate balancing between supply and demand in line with the expected service level and inventory at the next point of the supply chain for ESO Large Molecules (business unit). Manage key supply chain processes within ESO Large Molecules in monthly / quarterly / yearly cycles, such as Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Supply & Operations Planning (S&OP) and financial controls Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for developing the “Demand & Supply Plan” for the tactical horizon (3/4 to 24-36 months). Lead Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle for ESO Large Molecules, this includes Supply & Demand Review • Lead Inventory management for ESO Large Molecules. Establish and oversee supply chain processes in ESO LM as part of NOSSCE standards (NOSSCE = internal Novartis program for Supply chain excellence). Interface to global Supply Chain function and represent ESO LM in respective forums. • Support and collaborate with Supplier Relationship Teams (SRTs – operational units) and ESO Supply Chain Head to establish optimal Supply Plan and monitor deviations versus budget for the tactical horizon from 3/4 to 24-36 months including – Supply volumes/based on demand & Operational cost, supply performance and Inventory projection at platform/region and at external suppliers (toll manufacturing, de-coupling points). Support Supplier Relationship Teams (SRTs – operational units) to get accurate overview of capacity and resources for the assigned External Suppliers (CMOs – Contract Manufacturing Organizations) in order to highlight early warning signals in terms of unbalanced supply vs demand (i.e Supplier S&OP) • Responsible for driving the execution of write-off process in collaboration with key stakeholders. Optimize key supply chain processes according to the NOSSCE (internal supply chain excellence program) standards for the assigned area of responsibility (i.e. Demand Control and Demand Review, Supply Review, IBP, transportation/material flow,..) and relevant parameters (i.e. lead times, MOQ, product segmentation, order frequencies,..) in order to increase the processes effectiveness and compliance to the defined standards. • Support the ESO LM Supply Chain Head for effective deployment of supply chain including innovative planning models and generates analysis to support improvement of the planning and execution reliability for the area of responsibility. Promote, monitor and eventually lead action plans to achieve supply, customer services level (i.e. OTIF, stock outs) and inventory targets. Support the ESO LM Supply Chain Head for executing the defined Supply Performance governance process, analyzing the supply KPI reporting, highlighting gaps vs targets and defining and tracking gaps mitigation actions in collaboration with SRTs. • Collaborate with Global / Platform Supply Chain in the coordination of bottleneck management to avoid or minimize stock out risks for markets and patients creating scenarios in collaboration with Global Functions. Support implementation of Supply Chain Processes improvement initiatives with new suppliers in collaboration with SRTs. Supports supply risk management process within platform/region responding to ad hoc requests for analysis or information regarding supply chain risks and opportunities. Support the Supplier Relationship Teams (SRTs) to implement and execute the External Supplier S&OP according to the defined standards. • Facilitate the Demand Review; owns the Demand process consolidating Net requirements and providing inputs to monthly IBP cycle. including coordination with key Customers and stakeholders. Facilitate the Supply Review; owns the Supply process consolidating the Supplier’s plan and providing inputs to IBP cycle. Coordinates Supply Operation Manager community, ensuring consistent operational planning processes and training execution within platform/region, ensuring appropriate and up-to date SAP or Shape Up Super-Users network (community facilitator role, not a managerial relationship to Supply Operation Managers) • Represent ESO Large Molecules Supply Chain Head acting as deputy where needed in multidisciplinary governance meetings both internal and external the relevant platform/region organization. Maintain and manage compliance of Trading Service Procedures (TSP) with External Suppliers, and Trade Service Agreements (TSA) with Affiliates. nnnn Position Title: Supply Chain Manager, ESO Large Molecule Minimum requirements: Essential Requirements: • Graduation or Post Gradution in a technical, or scientific degree that contains supply chain management, logistics and/or planning including an APICS CPIM or APICS CSCP certification • Good command of English written and spoken –another language (written and spoken) are of advantage • Work experience in any of the fields of supply chain management, planning, logistics and inventory management • 12+yrs of experience in Pharma industry supply chain, experience working with CMO, ESO is preferred. • Strong communication skills, managing complex internal & external stakeholder landscape.
