McAfee, Inc. is Looking for Devops Engineer Remote at Bangalore Full Time

Role Overview:

Average complexity/dependency chains for all new developments have increased multi-fold. This impacts engg velocity due to overhead for integration/validation from multiple engineering teams.

Need a team to a) manage all run-time change/configuration, b) ensure e2e availability of test environments, and c) automate functional test cases for on-demand spin-up of test environments.

This is a remote position in India. We will only consider candidates currently in India and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the role :

• Build and manage testing environments through automation and perform root cause analysis of issues, documentation & prevention with proactive alerts and monitoring.

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.

• Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve the overall operational stability of software applications and systems.

• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.

• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.

About You:

• 5 to 6 years experience in DevOps/SRE from Automation role, must have experience in IAC, such as CloudFormation, Terraform.

• Should have experience with common debugging tools such as fiddler, NetMon, PerfMon and other tools needed to troubleshoot webserver issues/code/config/network issues.

• Ability to design and support build deployment and configuration management systems for multi-tier applications using Jenkins/Harness/CodeDeploy.

• Experience with at least 1 of the following languages – C# or Golang.

• Deep knowledge of infrastructure including AWS, MySQ/RDSL, Kubernetes, Docker, Python and Shell scripting.

• Good knowledge on Linux and Windows Operating systems.
