Project Meher is looking for 2-4 live-in animal caregivers to work at our recuperating centre at Kasarwadavali, Thane.
Responsibilities:
• Feed food and water, nurture, and care for sick, recovering animals. (Dogs & cats)
• Take dogs out for walks & regular exercise.
• Administer medications. Mix formulas or medications according to instructions.
• Perform wound care on pets that are injured or have gone through surgery, apply new dressings.
• Lift and move animals as needed. Ensure safe transportation of animals to the vet or as the case may be.
• Check for signs of disease or distress and report.
• Brush, bathe, detick, deflea all the intakes. Clean out animals ears.
• Keep records of feeding, exercise, weight and medication schedule.
• Clean and disinfect the centre everyday.
• Remove feces and urine immediately.
• Ensure inventory is stocked.
