Maruti Suzuki is Looking for Deputy Manager: AVL MBD and Durability (CAE) Full Time

• Preparing engine models for AVL EHD simulations – Engine, Auxiliaries.
• Performing EHD simulations using AVL EXCITE PU for crankshaft EHD, Conrod EHD, Main Bearing Simulations, AVL Timing drive simulations and load extraction, Piston 3D EHD simulation.
• Reading engine and subsystem drawings and extracting inputs required for AVL simulations, interacting with design and testing teams for inputs and test correlations, report preparations, discussions with design and explanation to management.
• Performing crankshaft, Conrod and main bearing durability simulations using Abaqus and FEMFAT.
• Performing engine thermal and head block compound simulations using Abaqus.

Technical Competencies:

• Sound knowledge of Engine parts and sub systems (Crankshaft, conrod, main bearing, piston).
• Hands on experience on using – AVL Excite PU, AVL Excite designer, AVL TD ,Nastran, Hypermesh, SimLab, Unigraphics.
• Sound knowledge of engine MBD, Heat transfer and fatigue simulations.
• Hands on experience in Abaqus linear and nonlinear simulations, Nastran dynamics simulations (SOL103, SOL111, SOL112), FEMFAT trans max and channel max simulations.
• Basic knowhow of NVH tests and ISO Test standards – Modal testing, Engine anechoic bench test, Intake/Exhaust Muffler NVH tests, In-cabin noise measurements
• Knowledge of scripting using Python will be an added advantage.
• Problem solving and data interpretation skills are required.

Educational Qualification

• Minimum 60% Throughout. Mechanical Engineering
