Job Description

Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to potential customers, often using a list of leads provided by the company.
Product Knowledge: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the products or services being offered to effectively convey their features and benefits to prospects.
Sales Pitch: Deliver a persuasive and engaging sales pitch to potential customers, emphasizing the value of the product or service.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers by addressing their questions and concerns, and following up on previous calls.
Lead Qualification: Assess the interest and suitability of leads and categorize them as potential prospects or not.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and quotas as set by the company.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of calls, interactions, and customer information in the companys CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Objection Handling: Handle objections and rejections professionally and work to turn them into opportunities.
Follow-up: Schedule and conduct follow-up calls with potential customers to nurture leads and close sales.
Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations governing telemarketing and ensure compliance with company policies.
Feedback: Provide feedback to the sales team and management regarding customer needs, market trends, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (a college degree may be preferred in some cases).
Proven experience in telemarketing or sales is a plus.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Patience and persistence in handling objections and rejections.
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales software is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
