Job Role : Executive-Purchase

Qualification : BE Mechanical or equivalent work experience

Job Profile : Purpose of the Role Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of best practice strategic initiatives across the sales & marketing business functions to support the delivery of the commercial objectives of the organisation. 1) Familiar with Purchase Process including creating Purchase Orders from internal requisitions (Exposure to a Standard ERP system such as SAP shall be a plus) 2) Good Communication (English, Kannada and Hindi) skills in terms of following up with suppliers and discussions with Internal Stake Holders on requirements & supplies 3) Maintenance of Documentation & Records 4) Travel Requirement – 10 to 15% : mostly local but at times could be to other JDPL Units and Supplier facilities 5) Since this requirement is for Packaging, there should be exposure to Dry Packaging Goods such as Shipper Cartons, Bottles, Caps, Labels, Shrink Wrap etc
Desired Candidate Profile : Preferably a Science or an Engineering or a Purchase Management Graduate. Any Diploma in Purchasing(in case of a Science Graduate) or Packaging (In case of any Graduate) shall be an added Plus.
