Assistant Transport Manager
Work Dynamics
What this job involves:
Operations Management
To ensure that transport staff provides timely distribution of pickup & drop list is provided to the vendors.
To ensure that transport staff & vendors staff tracks the timely & safe pickups and arrivals of employees & service providers.
Ensure defined travel times are met.
Ensure accident or crisis management is addressed.
Ensure incident reports are circulated within 24 hrs.
To act as a single point of contact for the designated facility for all transport escalations.
To ensure all reports, checklist, and statutory compliance adheres to all times.
To ensure accuracy of the data, analyze the transport costing and highlight the management accordingly.
Ensure the team updates trip data in the moveinsync as required.
To assist during the audit process and provide the audit reports with proper justification wherever required.
To ensure proper deductions and penalties are reviewed periodically & action take accordingly.
Implementation of Safe fleet and on-tim closure of audit findings.
Monitor vendor performance and escalate issues as required.
Management Responsibilities
In consultation with the Transport city lead oversee the operation, staffing, performance and, development of the transport team. Demonstrate leadership & responsiveness in the team. Understand the transport scope and develop specific processes & procedures to reduce cost & improve client satisfaction. Accomplish Key Performance Indicators as agreed with client. Coordinate with the transport city lead or facility manager on the goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plan for the transport team. To ensure client Transport Policies, Processes & procedures are adhered to by all transport staff in the facility. To ensure necessary training plan is scheduled and train the transport team/ drivers as per schedules.
