Position: full-time
The Human Resource (HR) Manager will lead the routine HR functions including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, leave, and implementing company policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
– Recruit, interview, hire and ensure training for new staff.
– Oversee the daily HR workflow.
– Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
– Implement and handle company policies.
Duties/Responsibilities:
– Work with the management team to understand and execute the organization’s HR and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
– Manage the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
– Conduct employee onboarding to ensure that any new team member is set up for success.
– As part of employee onboarding ensure that all appropriate and required background checks have been completed and are appropriately recorded and filed.
– Implement processes and support managers with probation and periodic reviews, appraisal processes, conducting exit interviews, and other HR processes required from time to time.
– Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
– Analyze trends in HR metrics including time-to-hire and employee attrition rates.
– Create learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
– Plan and organize team meetings, offsites and team building activities.
– Provide support and guidance to management and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
– Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
– Ensure employee files, job descriptions are up to date and appropriately filed in accordance with company policies and applicable data privacy laws.
– Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, and recommend best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
– Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or similar qualification. A degree in Human Resources Management is a plus.
Experience 3+ years.
– Experience working as an HR / People Operations professional, handling HR life cycle, conducting full life-cycle recruiting, experience with benefits & compensation and performance management.
– Experience working with an early-stage startups, building the entire HR / People Operations management processes from scratch.
