Position Summary
As a Senior QA Performance Test Engineer, you will be a key contributor in ensuring the quality of Huron’s enterprise applications. The successful candidate will help define and ensure that Huron’s applications meet high standards for reliability, usability, and performance.
You will work closely with the product management and engineering teams in the design, implementation, release, and maintenance of multi-user, dynamic, web-based and analytics applications. Requires a passion for delivering exceptional products, the curiosity and drive to learn client application usage patterns and behaviors, the technical skills to develop reusable and automated tests to ensure high quality user experience and the independence and persistence to own and drive quality through the life cycle of the product. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential aspects of this role.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Performance Test Plan and estimation.
Developing CI Pipelines to deploy applications to our dedicated load test environment.
Developing CI Pipelines to ready an environment for testing, executing performance tests and generating test results.
Working with other feature teams to help them develop performance tests.
Candidate Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar ones with 4 to 6 years of experience and at least 3 years in Performance Testing is a must.
Should be able to independently prepare performance test strategies and build test plans
Experience with JMeter or a similar performance testing tool
Experience in performance testing & automation tools for web / micro services / REST API’s.
Experience of running load, stress, soak and spike tests.
Experience with CI Pipelines or automating workflows.
Experience with programming / scripting languages including, but not limited to: Bash, Python.
Experience working with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
Ability to adapt quickly to new and changing technical environments as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Solid verbal and written communication skills are required.
Experience in using any of the Dashboard tools (Kibana, Grafana)
Generate performance graphs, session reports and other related documentation required for validation and analysis.
Identifying memory leakage, connection issues & Bottleneck problem in the application.
Create performance test scripts & identify different load test scenarios
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers, product managers and dev manager) to identify system requirements.
Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
