Main Purpose of the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity be part of dynamic Consumer Engagement team that plays an integral role in Unilever’s growth. The successful candidate will be working with several teams in UniOps as well as Brands, DMCs and BGs to increase utilization or our capabilities/tools.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Product Ownership – Drive Engagement with Business and Technical teams to create value with services/processes and take decisions which are aligned to organizational goals. This would include
oCreate meaningful stats showing the utilization of current capabilities / tools across different level of organization
oWork with various stakeholders to increase utilization / value and define the gaps preventing best utilization
oCreate / Manage a successful backlog to work with several (other) product owners across consumer engagement
oSet priority based on business value
oRepresent the consumer experience
oBuild and enable features roadmap which inspires others to go for it
oKeep the engagement going with focus on value
oDefining and owning product/feature roadmap (when a specified product / capability to be build)
oNavigate through organization structure to influence right stakeholders
oCreate demand and ensure delivery of the requested features
oAct as a critical Business Analysist to challenge current ways of working in a respectful way
Manage Delivery: Design, build and run end to end operations of the service
oGive inputs on product vision and refine the backlog as per business value
oInteract in stand-up meetings and collaborate on product features
oDiscuss scenarios with developers and offer them feedback to progress on stories and drive retrospective to learn and improve
oEngage with BA’s, SMEs and Other POs to get complete understanding of business value
oCollaborate on strategic alignment and minimal viable products (MVPs) for early validation of ideas
oEnsure release management activities are followed (e.g. Testing, QA), act as the main gatekeeper for platform level changes
oMaintain high level functional and technical designs oversight and take charge of any critical incidents impacting usage of platform
oDeal with issues, escalations and engage with Partner resources, Business engagement and key stakeholders whenever required
oContinuous improvements and Innovation by working across squads/tribes and drive better ROI of the services offered
Experience/Skills:
Data – Insights: It’s essential to have the ability to draw pertinent insights from usage data (of capabilities/products) and translate them into meaningful information for stakeholders to work together to increase tools utilization. This will help identify areas of improvement, along with opportunities for innovation. It’s also important that this information is presented in a clear and concise manner so everyone involved can understand the story the data tells.
.Ability to be hands-on: You are an SME and can communicate and work with the team as a peer to all the developers, you will be asked to work on process design as much as development and engagement activities to increase tool adoption.
.Techno-Functional Skills: Data and Analytics, Story Telling, Visualization, Operations Management and PMO.
oTechnical and Functional Skills – Good level for Data and Analytics, Business Requirements analysis, process design
oHands on usage of tools like Power BI reporting, JIRA, Confluence etc
oYou understand TDD/BDD as a framework and want only top quality output to be produced.
Excellent Communications: Able to manage and report to senior exec and stake holders on a weekly and monthly basis and present achievement in easy way to business groups.
Product Roadmap and Service Reporting: Build and drive clear vision of road maps to enable the work we need done over the next 12 months and establish service level reporting for clear delivery against goals/Killer KPIs
