Role Responsibilities
Primary responsibility for FCSO Portfolio Management.
Portfolio Management
Provide the FCSO Management with useful, accurate and timely views and analysis of the planned and current TTO investments Secretary of TTO RF (Refinement Forum). Convene and run the Refinement forum meetings. Portfolio Manage all Projects, Programmes, and Agile Deliveries Run the FCSO Project Management Office, proactively monitoring all critical aspects of the main IT projects to enable the stakeholders, including the senior management team, to have a consistent and transparent and accurate view of their status and their probable trajectory Central point of contact for portfolio control and governance for the FCSO Projects Manage the investment initiation cycle, ensuring that decisions on project initiation are made with accurate information and useful analytics Manage the programme forecasting and rolling outlook processes to enhance financial accuracy of funding requests, including risk and opportunity management. Manage the Lining up of work process (pipeline of potential change activities to be brought into the delivery Backlog) Strategic leadership to the team members and guide them to plan & develop solution in accordance with bank standards Engage and partner with TTO Portfolio management team.
Business
Ensure risk controls and their effectiveness on an ongoing basis, documenting changes, potential improvements, and the overall state of the risk management to report back to management Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant committees Work in collaboration with risk and control teams
Administration
Oversee management of the domain s performance including budget and staff Drive improved capabilities, processes and cost management within domain Take decisions within delegated authorities. Where appropriate, assign delegation of authority to direct reports Help Identify & resolve design, process or resourcing issues that could bottleneck delivery
People & Talent
Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from the team Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development; make sure that the team members are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles, ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks Employ, engage and retain high quality people Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives Act as a mentor for staff in different stages of their careers either through formal Mentor Programmes or Ad-hoc requests
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group s Values and Code of Conduct . Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct. Lead the FCSO / PMO Function/PMO team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank s Conduct Principles. Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Provide leadership t the team to comply with the highest standards of regulatory and business conduct and practices as defined by internal and external requirements

Our Ideal Candidate
10+ years of experience in Portfolio Management and Transaction Monitoring. Diploma or Any Graduate Degree from a recognized University. Prior Accounting or Finance background, preferably open to learn Financial Crime. Solid understanding of Portfolio, Programme and Agile Delivery Management. Possesses strong leadership skills to convene and run Refinement Forum(RF) meetings. Ability to contribute to growth and be part of high profile, large transformation programmes. Sound Stakeholder Management skills. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills
