Product Line Leader GEnx – Life Management demonstrates technical expertise in leading projects to achieve program goals within the program schedule and processes. In this role you will lead a cross functional team working on GEnx commercial engines like. You will be responsible for engine critical parts to certify safe and competitive life limits for entire product life cycle.

Essential Responsibilities

In this role, you will report to Life Management Sub- Section Manager, Services Engineering & EMS India, BEC, JFWTC Bangalore. You will be responsible for engine critical parts to certify safe and competitive life limits for entire product life cycle. Additionally, you need to proactively resolve field issues, enable repairs and serviceable limits. You will interface with other teams such as Life Cycle Engineering (LCE), Services Engineering, Systems, Projects, FAA and EASA based on business need.

• Lead GEnx engine line team aligning with critical business issues, identifying and prioritizing Life Management programs with seamless interface to all stakeholders
• Own Chapter 5 rotor LLP’s
• Scope, plan and execute programs to meet all business & technical objectives-Ensure parts meet their ultimate lives
• Resolve Field issues, support on Field plan development
• Collaborate diverse, global, cross-functional/domain, RSP teams
• Ensure alignment with Sub-section, Section, LCE priorities
• Develop certification plan for life programs
• Interaction with RCE/ODA for regulatory issues and System and PCB to define scope,
• Provide timely and clear communication
• Manage resource, budget and schedule
• Provide regular IOI’s and other program summaries
• Continuous improvement mindset in new lifing technology/process development. And Evolve analysis and/or test methodology to validate the design against requirements.
• Provide technical mentoring to team across commercial product lines
• Strengthening interactions with adjacencies like Manufacturing, Materials & Repair Engineering
• Enable team in growing perspective, making cross product linkages, leveraging expertise.
• Lead GEnx horizontal teams aligning with critical business issues, identifying and prioritizing Life Management programs with seamless interface to all stakeholders

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in Aviation Engines or Turbo machinery Engineering position (design, analysis, systems, services)
• In-depth technical and product knowledge
• Strong project management skills including cross-functional coordination of activities
• Strong Design creativity and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication and influencing skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization both internally and externally
• Should have a clear thinking and Decision making
• Ability to influence others and lead teams
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• Experience in engine field problem resolution
