Job Summary

Mantra Softech is looking for a Research Engineer – Image processing.Your responsibilities are to analyze data, write reports, develop methods,work with computer vision for feature extraction and classification, research basic to advanced image processing algorithms, and create visual interpretations of data.If you are looking for an exciting place to work, please take a look at the list of qualifications below.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Responsible for developing new image processing algorithms for biometrics (70% Image processing 30% AI).

· Design & Development of New Biometrics products.

· Responsible for functionally operate various stages of New Product Development (NPD) process to create innovative, differentiated products/solutions with clear differentiable consumer benefit surpassing current market benchmarks/consumer expectations.

· Create new product ideas/opportunity which will be unique, differentiated and proprietary.

· Manage the NPD process for development of new products based on technical brief with unique efficacy, sensorial acceptability with end-to-end view.

· Developing the new product in approved costing and mutually agreed time-line.

· Conducting research on consumer needs, continuous interactions with the marketing team, and continuous meetings with the manufacturing/production teams to generate ideas and develop new products.

· Process Engineering and process design for the existing setup and new setups to make them efficient.

· Overseeing Research and Development of new products.

· Improvement of existing products.

· Streamlining the production process.

· Business case analysis and application engineering.

· The products/solutions aspired to create perceivable differentiation in the market in a given consumer segment on a sustained basis.

· Interface with marketing, manufacturing, commercial and legal teams for efficient and effective progression and implementation of projects.

· Create agenda for, and act as a facilitative bridge for implementation of Advanced Technology ideas.

· Product & Business strategy.

· To provide techno-commercial aspect in Business Development.

· Build & lead a fungible team of resources to have seamless integration with adjacent functions.

· Also responsible for the analytical and microbiological labs for developed products.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹25,000.00 – ₹40,000.00 per month
