Bachelor Degree of engineering or related required.

Minimum 5 years of MS-SQL DBA and DBE experience required.

Strong understand of Database backup and restore procedure.

Deep understanding T-SQL is required and able to write the complex T-SQL queries.

As new systems are brought in-house, choose whether to use clustering, log shipping, mirroring, Windows Azure, or other technologies.

Configure MS-SQL Server monitoring utilities to minimize false alarms.

Install and configure new MS-SQL Servers.

Deploy database change scripts provided by third party vendors.

When performance issues arise, determine the most effective way to increase performance including hardware purchases, server configuration changes, or index/query changes.

Finding DMV queries to answer questions about server-level performance.

Document the companys database environment.

On-call duty 24/7 support in case of emergency.

Troubleshoot MS-SQL Server service outages as they occur, including after-hours and weekends.

Developer experience is big plus.

Powershell knowledge is big plus.

MYSQL knowledge should be plus.

Percona XtraDB cluster knowledge and configuration should be plus.
