Consultant – Strategy & Analytics Jobs at Gurugram, India Full Time

We are looking for a strategic, quantitative, process and detail-oriented business individual to join the Strategy & Analytics team. It would be a mix of Strategy and Program Management role and would be reporting to the Head of the Strategy & Analytics team. You will be working with senior management and stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage business processes, systems, reports, and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives. You would be undertaking new initiatives, do research and generate insights for business growth opportunities etc. For further details, please refer to the – Key Responsibilities- section.
About Team:
Our team identifies and drives critical projects and strategic initiatives to support revenue growth while supporting the operational cadence to surface business insights. This team act as a key partner to the business delivering against four core themes:
1) Core business operations (e.g. planning, metrics, and rhythm of business),
2) Strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve efficiency
3) Organizational enablement through analytics, process improvements and tools and 4) Identifying and research on new business opportunities including international expansion
Key Responsibilities :
1) Collaborate with the Strategy and Business heads for planning, translation of the strategic plan into the annual plan and hands-on execution of specific projects. Draft and iterate short- and long-term strategy proposals for the business unit in collaboration with the Strategy head
2) Executing short-term strategy, key business goals and initiatives, and performance managing the business. Take ownership of the delivery of new/existing requirements by working alongside tech, product and operation teams. 3)Directly support defining and program management of strategy (through problem-solving, planning/coordination, project management) on critical business goals.
4) Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives and drive alignment with cross-functional teams across the organization by developing detailed project plans with activity-based milestones
5) Work with core business team members to streamline business and operation processes & define required product features for new/existing initiatives
6) Provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth and provide key insights for business leaders to support strategic decision-making
7) Use research, analytics and modelling to identify new opportunities for the company to optimize its financial and operational performance. Quantify the growth and cost savings opportunities through a variety of models and analyses. Identify opportunities to scale services and tools – design processes and procedures that scale with the business- growth in volume, complexity, and geography. Develop and shape go-to-market strategy/plan and identify opportunities using a data-driven approach
8) Collaborate on the design, development, maintenance, and delivery of models, metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions for Unicommerce. This will also include drafting presentations that visually demonstrate significant business insights and provide Executives and Board Members with updates on key company developments
9) Communicate with senior leadership on a regular basis, highlighting progress towards goals, key risks and dependencies
Requirements :
– 2-5 yrs. of total work experience with minimum 2-3 years in management consulting/strategy roles in high growth startups in Internet/FinTech domain, Consulting Firms etc. Technology/SaaS companies experience is a plus.
– Tier 1 college undergraduate degree and MBA degree from top management institutes
– Ability to think quantitatively and qualitatively about business problems and come up with solutions
– Strong research and analytical skills. Explorer – the ability to self-serve, investigate and get the data we require will make you much more effective in this role. A self-starter attitude is a must
– Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management
– Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills, ability to solve complex and diverse business problems (commercial, operational, organizational), experience explaining concepts to audiences
– Enjoy the challenge to thrive in a complex, ambiguous environment by driving results through effective structuring, communication and simplicity
