Power BI Developer
- Knowledge and experience in Power BI, Power Query and DAX is must
- Knowledge of one Database and SQL Scripting is must
- Azure Analysis Services (AAS)/SSAS Tabular is a must
- Strong Hands-on experience in DAX Query
- Strong in Data Modelling concepts
- Worked with Data procurement strategies – DB, Cached/import mode (applications, features and drawbacks)
- Configure/integrate security both at Power BI tool and DB level respectively
- Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
- Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes) and storytelling abilities
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies – Azure Synapse is preferred
- Experience setting up data connections, mobility, writing functions and using advanced features like ESRI, NLP, scripting, R & python etc. is preferred
- Knowledge of Power BI deployment pipelines
