The IT Project Intmd Analyst is a developing professional role. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/ job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses’ core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.
Responsibilities:
Supports PMO related activities related to the GFT Book of Work (BoW) delivery;
Ensures BoW health with the Transformation Leads, Program managers and Senior Technology Leads to ensure healthy challenge and alignment across GFT;
Coordinates with Transformation programs to ensure adherence to Citi PM policy;
Supports BoW update requests;
Identifies stakeholders in assigned Line of Business and build and manage relationships with each stakeholder – including supporting regular weekly and monthly meetings with Senior Technology leads on BoW status;
Support management of Central Transformation requests allowing Transformation Teams to focus on execution and delivery;
Supports the identification and drive resolution of issues within established GFT programs of work;
Drives adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the program;
Ensures timely delivery and closure of projects as defined within Project Tracking System (PTS);
Track to resolution and closure all risk and governance review assessment results;
Work with the LOB on mitigating reoccurring findings from these assessments;
Directs the communication of status, issue, and risk disposition to all stakeholders, including senior management, on a timely basis;
Directs the identification of risks which impact program delivery and ensure mitigation strategies are developed and executed by the business;
Work with the Chief of Staff to drive the creation and setup of the yearly book of work;
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards;
Identify and implement efficiencies across the organisation to simplify processes and procedures to assist PMs in focusing on execution and delivery.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience within PMO function (business/technology) preferably within the financial services industry;
Demonstrate a consistent track record having worked as a Program or Project Manager, PMO or managed strategic cross-functional projects;
Previous program/project management, technology and or governance management experience
PMP, PgMP and/or MBA are a plus
