The Digital S/W Engineer Sr Mgr accomplishes results through the management of professional team(s) and department(s). Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Requires basic commercial awareness. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area. May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise. Involved in short-term planning resource planning. Full management responsibility of a team, which may include management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations and may include budget approval.

Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Hands On Delivery manager or a similar role architecting, designing, developing and maintaining robust software solutions to solve business problems.
Comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries
Hands on experience on Core Java, Spring, Spring boot
Hands on experience with RESTful services using frameworks like Springboot.
Knowledge on Micro services (Service discovery, API Gateway, config server).
Familiarity with databases like Oracle and MongoDB
Knowledge on UI frameworks such as Angular, Angular JS, React (optional)
Desirable Skills:
UI Unit test frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Protractor)
Java Junit testing using Junits, Mockito, TestNG
Experience on Hibernate, JPA is a plus
Splunk/ELK/ Appdynamics
Hands on experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins/Team city, JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT.
Knowledge of API platforms such as APIGEE would be a plus.
Hands on experience of working on Process Automation/workflow tools such as jBPM would be a plus.
Should have worked in Agile Environment.
Should be comfortable in stakeholder management including business stakeholders, work with ambiguity, resolve conflicts and drive decision making.
Education:
Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
The position is based in India and will require the candidate to work as a Vice President for Citi Global Wealth Digital Channels Team.
Project entails providing technical leadership, gets involed in solution designing, mentoring team in implementing pre-approved UI, constructing the API, connecting the two, and setting up the server infrastructure. This includes all associated areas such as database and architecture design.
Candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
