We are seeking a highly accomplished and results-driven P&L Leader/Category Head to join a prominent and rapidly growing education technology company. As the P&L Leader / Category Head for the Medical Postgraduate (NEET PG) category, you will be responsible for driving the overall strategy, profitability, and growth of this crucial category, including offline sales management, college ambassador engagement, and overseeing a P&L size of approximately INR 300 crore.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and operational excellence within the NEET PG category, with a particular focus on offline sales channels.
– Lead and manage a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
– Own the end-to-end P&L responsibility for the NEET PG category, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance of approximately INR 300 crore.
– Develop and implement effective strategies to manage and engage college ambassadors, leveraging their influence to drive category awareness and customer acquisition.
– Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights, translating them into actionable strategies.
– Collaborate closely with content development teams to ensure the creation and delivery of high-quality, relevant, and engaging educational content for NEET PG aspirants.
– Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including faculty, industry experts, and educational institutions, to enhance the category’s offerings and network.
– Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing and promotional initiatives, driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
– Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, tracking category performance against targets and implementing corrective actions as needed.
– Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in medical education, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, incorporating them into the category strategy and offerings.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technology, product, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of category initiatives.
– Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on category performance, growth opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements:
– Extensive experience in P&L leadership or category management roles within the education or edtech industry, specifically in the Medical Postgraduate (NEET PG) category.
– Proven track record of driving business growth, achieving revenue targets, and managing profitability, with exposure to managing a P&L size of approximately INR 300 crore.
– Strong strategic mindset, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop innovative strategies to capture them.
– Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
– Deep understanding of the medical education landscape and familiarity with the NEET PG examination process.
– Experience in managing college ambassadors and leveraging their networks for brand awareness and customer acquisition.
– Analytical and data-driven approach, with the ability to leverage insights to inform decision-making and drive performance improvements.
– Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and nurture strong relationships with internal and external partners.
– Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
