Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to architecture, planning, implementing, and driving major initiatives related to networks, cloud with opportunities to expand into security and Cloud & Data center initiatives.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
- Co-ordinate with service providers for the installation and activation of new services.
- Install, upgrade, configure and maintain network equipment, servers and Operating Systems.
- Configuration and management of Email, System, firewall, domains, SSL etc
- Proactively maintain all IT infrastructure technology to maintain 24×7 availability.
- Installation, Troubleshooting and Debugging skills in a server-client environment.
- Perform network security design and integration with leased lines.
- Implement the necessary controls and procedures to protect information systems assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction;
- Provide network and host based security, incident response, firewall and VPN management and administration;
- Must have to do attitude for emergency troubleshooting after office hours.
- Monitor network usage, anticipate problems and automate solutions;
Desired Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of in-depth experience in core System Administration working On Windows Environment. Work experience on Linux is a plus.
- Must be CCNA / MCSE certified and strong knowledge on Switching (Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches).
- 3+ years of experience working with Routers, Firewalls and Switches
- Experience architecting, implementing, and managing monitoring solutions for production (cloud) environments.
- Expertise in Windows 10, Server 2012,2016,2019, System administration and Network administration.
- Experience working in Cloud systems like AWS, Azure is a plus
