The Position
Will be responsible for the Medicine operations process optimization, overall local execution of digital transformation of India Medical team and oversight & coordination of the operational processes within Scientific Communications.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Coordinating local medical stakeholders in the ICP process (PLAN-DESIGN-EXECUTE ANALYZE) aligned to Local OPU guidance and support.
Implementing digital tactics in alignment with brand plans (IBP) and customer engagement plans (ICP) according to INDIA ICP Team guidance.
Implementing and maintaining digital channels/platforms according to country needs and regional team guidance. The scope includes local maintenance of websites (HCP related)
Drive optimal utilization of platforms in country by championing governance and KPis to monitor and track platform utilization through ongoing reporting.
Overseeing the performance and deployment of Global, Regional, and local digital content according to best practices and guidelines. Also, this role is accountable for developing or localizing ad-hoc content as per the OPUs needs.
Evaluating performance of digital channels (KPis) and content in collaboration with local stakeholders and supported by INDIA ICP Team Lead and Advanced Analytics.
Sharing of local customer insights and best practices to India Medical Team and other relevant stake holders.
Key contact for any local digital initiatives for testing innovative experiments, reporting and sharing learning with medical team.
Project Management/Operational Excellence
Ensure day-to-day oversight and coordination of Medicine operational processes.
Liaison with Scientific Communications leader and team members to ensure TA and Scientific Communications strategies are translated into operational execution.
Ensure benchmarking of critical capabilities, functions, and processes to inform gaps & opportunities.
Responsible for coordinating alignment with global stakeholders on identification, implementation, and enhancements of new/existing systems.
Responsibility of execution on HCP engagements as a part of healthcare compliance responsibility and overseeing team execution of day-to-day activities as defined and governed by Compliance & legal team in HCC engagement manual.
NTA Manager: Non-Trial activities process adherence and support NTAs review and approval as required.
Aligning Medical Information processes with current global SOPs with training and support for medical information specialist.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree (e.g. MBBS, MBA from top recognized institutions)
Minimum 5 years of work experience within Medical Affairs or Business function is preferred.
At least 2 years of experience on Medical Advisors/ MSL role.
At least 2 years overall working experience in digital marketing and transformation experience required – digital platforms, content, training, change management.
Hands on experience in digital marketing and execution (e.g., running end-to-end digital campaigns)
Clear understanding of MLR processes and regulatory considerations in Pharma Industry experience is preferred.
Prior experience in digital/ multimedia agency for content creation in highly regulated markets such as Pharma
Understanding of Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault/ Digital Asset Management, Veeva Email (FuE), Salesforce.com, Analytics platforms or similar systems
Prior management experiences a plus, e.g., first line sales management
English command at fluent level in writing/speech
Strong digital skill-set acumen
Experience in website implementation and deployment.
Expert knowledge of email strategies is key.
Experience in planning and executing digital campaigns.
Basic understanding and knowledge of Adobe Campaign (campaign management, email marketing and campaign automation) and Adobe Target (campaign optimization, web personalization) or similar systems
Strong tagging skills and knowledge. i.e., Dynamic Tag Management and Adobe Analytics or similar systems
