This is for our client- IIT Kharagpur, Hardware support engg Skill: Linux/Unix, ready to work at customer location at Kharagpur

Educational Qualification – BE/B.Tech OR MCA ( Full Time)

Job Description:

1. Thorough knowledge of Linux and networking
2. Hands on experience in maintenance of Linux servers and Networking items
3. Preferred RHEL certified.
4. Preferred working knowledge on HPC
5. Role will be HW/ SW support at customer site.
6. Interaction with the user teams for issues related with system performance and L1 support on applications.
7. Ability to handle customer relations with the client at site.
8. Interact with the L2 support team and resolve the HW / SW issues.
9. Be available beyond office hours for system emergencies when needed.
10. Maintain the on-site inventory.
11. Collate the data, review with the client and collect the quarterly support performance letter from the institute.
