Description
The Individual will be working as an Account Manager as a part of the Financial Services (FS) Vertical in ISV Industry Unit. ISV – IDU team consists of 4 Account Managers one of which already works on a set of named accounts in FS. FS is a large patch and we want to split named accounts in between two AMs.
Account Manager shall be responsible for
1/ growing the business in the named account by helping bring workloads that are currently on-prem,
2/ work closely with FS-ENT team and drive integration of ISV workloads on AWS for BFSI customers,
3/ evangelize AWS ISV solutions within the larger upcoming FS ISV.
AM is expected to have an ability to operate independently and also expected to ramp up within a quarter to start pitching AWS to the field.
Key job responsibilities
Work on building an Account plan for the named set of accounts with FS ISVs in India to adopt AWS services internally and for their end customers.
Build strong relationship and earn trust with the named set of accounts.
Build and deliver on the Yearly revenue and Account Plans
Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
Deliver information on programs, promotions and deals with named accounts.
Exceeds various business objectives
Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
Acquire new workloads for AWS. Migrate workloads from On-Prem to Cloud.
Possess the technical ability to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of technology related sales; marketing or business development experience.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills. Extensive experience working in a results driven team.
• Extensive customer & contact network. Sales experience with virtualization/infrastructure solutions a bonus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• A technical background in engineering, computer science/MIS or equivalent work experience required
• Ability to drive accounts independently.
• Self-Starter with ability to close the complete sales cycle.
• Good communication skills to interact with and convey structured arguments to high-level business stakeholders
• Understanding of cloud.
