Responsibilities and Duties
∙creating website designs
∙producing sample sites
∙meeting with clients to discuss requirements and/or project progress
∙demonstrating and receiving feedback about draft sites
∙keeping up to date with recent technological and software developments
∙developing skills and expertise in appropriate software/programming languages such as HTML and
Javascript
∙creating products that are user-friendly, effective and appealing
∙digital retouching and image editing
∙working as part of a multidisciplinary team

Skills
∙Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
∙Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, wire-framing tools
and other visual design tools.
∙Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and
JavaScript.
∙Good understanding of content management systems.
∙Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
∙Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
∙Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
∙Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
∙Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
∙Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
∙Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
∙Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
