Finance Analyst

You will be working as Finance Analyst and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to the Business Controller. You will be primarily responsible to provide financial expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups and recommending actions to improve financial performance of the business.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting preparation of relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions
• Providing information to management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
• Ensuring processes and controls within own area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with group and unit requirements. Maintaining proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/ internal/ external audits and reviews
• Performing analyses of business performance versus budget and forecast and proposes improvement actions and optimizes own performance to increase productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, coordinating information requirements

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CA preferred
• Minimum 5+ years if bachelors, fresher or up to 2 years if CA
• Good knowledge of accounting and reporting, preferably USGAAP & INGAAP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically on MS Excel & PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP an added advantage
